Rob, Estates Technical Assistant
At Inspired Villages, we prioritise wellbeing. That’s one of the reasons I love working here. I lost my dad at a young age and my wellbeing went slightly off-track, so it’s always been very important to me to work for an employer that’s committed to actively promoting positive mental health and wellbeing. I’m very proud to now be able to talk about my experience in an open forum.

What stood out most for me when I started here, was the remarkable culture. It’s an open, honest, and straight-talking environment, filled with genuine and approachable people. From day one I was made to feel welcome. My line manager made sure I had introductions with the CFO, CEO and Chief Customer Officer and they talked me through the business. I didn’t just feel like a cog in the machine, I felt like a genuinely important part of the business. Ellen, Planning Manager
The best part of my job is visiting our villages and meeting the residents. We take stakeholders and politicians on tours around the villages and it’s really nice when the residents themselves share their experiences and speak so highly of their lives in our villages. Over the past year, Inspired Villages’ Learning team has really supported me to progress in my career. I’ve completed the Housing LIN Future Leaders course, and the Line Management Excellence program at Leicester University. Both were really interesting. I’ve also had media training and various technical training related to my role. These courses are always exciting as you get an insight into other parts of the business that you wouldn’t usually deal with.
Estates
Managing our property estate and helping design and deliver great facilities management strategies and services - that's estates.
Development
Take a lead on all aspects involved in securing new property development opportunities to grow our business.
Design
Put simply, our design colleagues design our villages optimally for our residents to live the best years of their lives.
Land & planning
From sourcing and identification, to negotiation and acquisition of land, our colleagues are always looking ahead.
People & culture
We want our colleagues to have the best years of their lives working for us too - that's what our P&C team looks after.
Finance
The backbone of our business - the colleagues who look after the numbers.
CEO support
From communications to business analysis, strategic projects and initiatives are developed and delivered through our CEO support team.
Sales & marketing
Without residents buying our properties, we'd have no business. It's largely thanks to our sales and marketing colleagues that we do.
