Wendy, Head Housekeeper
We really care about each other – and each of our 226 residents. I pride myself on knowing the name of every single resident I look after. There’s much more to our roles than just cleaning residents’ houses – we make sure each and every person is happy and safe. I go home fulfilled every day and look forward to coming in and doing it all over again. It’s a fantastic, fabulous community and I’m inspired by my colleagues every day.

Alan, Head Gardener
As the Head Gardener at Millbrook Village in Devon, I love encouraging our residents to step out of their homes, away from the TV, and immerse themselves in the beautiful grounds that I’m lucky enough to work on. My favourite things about working here are the camaraderie within my team, the unwavering support from the company, and the genuine appreciation and admiration from our residents. Giving back and helping others appreciate life is my ultimate goal. And working for Inspired Villages allows me to make a meaningful impact.
Meet some of the team
Leah, National Wellbeing Manager
From helping residents get to know the local area to pointing them in the direction of clubs, activities and events which might be of interest to them, it’s down to my team of Wellbeing Navigators to make sure everyone settles in easily and feels at home here as soon as possible. My favourite thing is watching residents make progress - whether it’s easing pain in their joints through exercise or changing their diet to improve their health. The success stories are what makes working here so wonderful. There was a lady who hadn’t been in a pool for 30 years and was so nervous to get in, but she did it and it was amazing to watch her finally move and walk without pain. It made me want to cry!
Grounds
Gardening and grounds maintenance are their passion. Our grounds teams keep our villages looking beautiful all year round.
Housekeeping
Keeping our villages and our residents' homes spotless, our housekeepers love sharing stories with them.
Health and wellbeing
Bringing our whole ethos to life, our wellbeing specialists develop and run all resident wellness programmes and activities.
Maintenance
From keeping our pools running well to resident household repairs, our handy, go-to colleagues are here to get anything fixed.
